What I Learned – Netflix Just Dropped A Sneak Peek Of The First Episode

What I Learned. WhatILearned.com. Breaking News and Stories from around the globe.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been counting down the days until Netflix drops Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy this Friday.

In the lead up to its release, Netflix have been teasing us fans with things like an action-packed trailer and the cutest image of baby Pogo I have ever seen.

But, because they love us, they’ve also dropped a sneak peek — YES, A SNEAK PEEK — from the first episode of Season 2.

We have an explosive surprise for you 💥💥 Watch the opening scene of The Umbrella Academy season 2 before the rest drops into your timeline on Friday.

Obviously, spoilers ahead!!!

The clip starts off with Five exiting a time portal by himself and looking for Luther and Diego.

Just in case you need a refresher, Season 1 ended with Five attempting to transport him and his siblings back in time so they can stop the apocalypse from happening.

As the camera pans around, it’s made clear that Five has transported himself to a different time period, specifically November 25 1963, during a Soviet attack on the US.

Out of nowhere, an alternate version of Vanya — one who looks to be in full control of her powers — effortlessly deflects a missile.

Then we see an alternate version of Klaus — who also has a much better handle and understanding of his powers compared to the Klaus we were introduced to in Season 1 — attack using ghost-like soldiers.

Luther then shows up and defends Klaus by taking a landmine (or something) to the back and smiles it off like it’s no big deal.

And there’s also Ben — who looks to be manifested from Klaus’ powers — taking down another group of soldiers.

Or is Ben alive??? I don’t know what to think anymore, tbh.

Alison also makes an appearance and uses her “rumours” to blast away some soldiers.

And the last of the Hargreeves siblings, Diego, shows up to kick butt and ask Five where the hell he’s been.

Just when you think there was enough going on, an older version of Hazel shows up and transports Five away from this explosive world.

And then the final shot of the opening scene is of the Hargreeves siblings — minus Five — looking on as a nuclear missile explodes and seemingly kills them.

I have SO MANY questions, but most of all, I can’t wait until the new season drops this Friday. In the meantime, tell me about your theories for Season 2 below!
